Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah, We the Markazi Jamia Mosque Wakefield Committee would appreciate your efforts in arranging a collection date for us on a Friday after the Jummah prayer.

The Markazi Jamia Mosque Wakefield has been serving the Muslim community for the last 40 years and as the Muslim community needs are growing, we have planned to extend our mosque to cater for the sisters by building a new second floor with ablution area and also give the mosque a facelift.

The Plans have been passed by the grace of Allah.The cost for this project is about £450,000 this includes the second floor, Sisters ablution area, changing the layout of the ground floor to the prayer hall, new ablution area for brothers on the ground floor, new entrance to the front to take the bodies through to the ghusl (Bath for the Deceased) area without any difficulty and also the face lift of the whole front of the mosque.
